
Communications & Equity Manager
Brittany Jones serves as the Communications & Equity Manager for the Safe Routes Partnership. In this role Brittany oversees our communications efforts and serves as a co-leader to provide support for our strategic priorities to advance equity and racial justice.
Prior to joining Safe Routes Partnership, Brittany served as the President of the Marlboro Chamber of Commerce before assuming the role of Assistant Director of Tourism, Parks, & Recreation for the City of Bennettsville. While with the City of Bennettsville, Brittany led the effort to develop a Parks and Recreation master plan, working to improve park connectivity and neighborhood access to quality green spaces.
Brittany is a member of the National Recreation and Park Association and a graduate of NRPA’s Directors School. She has served as the co-chair of the organization’s Young Professional Network Publications Committee, in addition to being a member of the organization’s Ethnic Minority Society.
Brittany holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications, Visual Communications from the University of South Carolina. She currently lives in Bennettsville with her fiance and sons, where she is an active member of her community serving on several boards and organizations.
