The Safe Routes to School Virtual Summit brings people together from all over the country who care about making it safer and easier for kids to walk, bike, and roll to school. During the years we aren’t meeting in-person at the National Conference, we host this virtual event on Zoom to connect folks from a variety of backgrounds like Safe Routes to School coordinators, transportation planners, teachers, public health professionals, community leaders, and more.
The Summit is a chance to hear real stories, learn what’s working in different places, and spark new ideas. Sessions highlight everything from local projects and policy wins to how communities are centering equity and youth voices in their work.
We’re proud to offer this space for learning, connection, and inspiration. Below, you’ll find highlights and resources from past summits to give you a feel for what the event is all about.
