The City of Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), is excited to announce the launch of the first Citywide Safe Routes Task Force. Please join us!

The goal of the Task Force is to provide forums for building and strengthening collaborative partnerships among knowledgeable leaders, service providers and advocates of education, transportation, health, non-profit organizations, city government and local agencies that will play a vital role in achieving the goals of the Safe Routes to School & Citywide School Safety Assessment Study:
- Create a strategic and comprehensive Safe Routes to School plan for the City of Los Angeles that is data driven.
- Increase communication and build strong partnerships between LAUSD, key stakeholders, and city agencies for Safe Routes to School projects and programs.
- Align, dedicate, and organize the City of Los Angeles workforce and stakeholders to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of developing, funding and implementing Safe Routes to School projects.
- Formulate a strategy to fund and implement the Safe Routes to School plan, taking advantage of all potential transportation or non-transportation funding sources and opportunities for implementation by related projects.
