Join the New SoCal Chapter of (APBP)

apbp_logoFollowing the announcement of a local chapter in Washington State last month, several folks inquired about a Southern California Chapter of the Association of Pedestrian and Bicycle Professionals (APBP).  After discussions with APBP and several colleagues, a group of individuals who are interested in helping start a local chapter.  Join this kick off meeting and be a part of these efforts in creating a SoCal APBP chapter.

Join the no-host happy hour on November 14 at 6:00 p.m. at Far Bar at 347 East 1st Street in Little Tokyo in Los Angeles.

Local chapters aim to provide APBP members with:

  • A forum for exchanging ideas
  • Social and networking activities
  • Career development
  • Cross-pollination of ideas, energy and programs across regions and professional fields
  • Mentoring
  • Student engagement
  • Membership growth
  • Opportunities to build expertise
