MTC and the Air District have released the Call for Projects for the Spare the Air Youth Program. The grant seeks to fund high-impact regional programs that have significant potential to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from sources related to youth transportation. This program will leverage existing Regional Safe Routes to School (RSRTS) programs and climate awareness programs that educate and encourage youth about transportation and climate change issues.
Staff will be hosting a Proposers’ Conference on Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m. to answer any questions. You are welcome to attend in person or via telephone conference call. More information can be found here: http://www.sparetheairyouth.org/spare-air-youth-grant/
