SRTS Instructor Training Call for Applications

SRTSNP_logo_socal_smallApplications are now being accepted for participation in the SRTS National Course Instructor Training held April 29-May 2, 2013 in Ontario, CA. Up to 12 individuals may be selected.

The Safe Routes to School national course has been taught throughout the country since 2004 by instructors trained at the Pedestrian and Bicycle Information Center and the National Center for Safe Routes to School. This training seeks to help meet demand and enable more communities to receive the course. The registration fee is $2500, which includes training delivery expenses, materials, and travel between the hotel and off-site locations. Three $1000 subsidies and two fully paid registrations are also being offered. See the application for more information on qualifications.

Applications will be accepted until Friday, February 22 and all applicants will be notified of selection status by March 4.
