SANDAG: Request for Partners for Community-based Outreach Services

SANDAG is seeking to partner with a maximum of ten (10) community-based organizations (CBOs) to facilitate timely and meaningful involvement from Communities of Concern in the development of the SANDAG Regional Plan. (Communities of Concern are defined as Low-Income, Minority, Low Mobility, and Low Community Engagement. For details on the census data and thresholds used to define these communities please see the 2050 RTP, Chapter 4, page 4-11. The Communities of Concern definition used in the 2050 RTP/SCS may undergo changes as the Regional Plan is developed.)
Proposals due 12/15/2012. 
The SANDAG Regional Plan will combine the Regional Transportation Plan and the Regional Comprehensive Plan, and is scheduled for adoption in 2015. In addition, the CBOs selected under this RFP may be asked to facilitate input from their communities on related agency-wide work efforts depending upon performance, need, and availability of funding. Only nonprofit, community-based organizations are eligible to propose on this RFP. No pre-proposal meeting will be held.

When registering consider choosing the following commodity codes: 813990 [other similar organizations (except business, professional, labor, and political organizations)] and/or 925120 [Administration of Urban Planning and Community and Rural Development].
