Join us: Safe Routes to School Policy Roundtable in San Diego

Join us on Wednesday October 12th at 4pm in San Diego to discuss how partnerships among Cities and Schools can work to improve and increase opportunities for students and their families to walk and bike to school.  All are welcome and invited to join this free event.  Please RSVP to Christian at clopez@naleo.org

Having relationships among: elected officials, school board members, teachers and principals, students and parents, community members and organizations, city agencies, law enforcement, hospitals, transportation public health agencies, and more – all optimize efforts to support healthy and active neighborhoods and schools.  This meeting is intended to share best practices, both local and national, and connect those working to support Safe Route to School efforts throughout San Diego County. Come join us and help spread the word to others who might be interested in this event.  Please consider walking and taking the Trolley (get off at the Old Town Stop), or consider riding your bike (bike racks located in front of the building) and for driving directions – click here.
