SRTS Funding and Obligation Action Team Meeting – Aug 10

Please join our Statewide Action team on Funding and Obligation Rates. This is a coordinated effort by Caltrans, Safe Routes to School Technical Assistance Resource Center (TARC), local jurisdictions and many other critical partners to see awarded Safe Routes to School funds obligated and implemented in a timely manner. All are invited and encouraged to join, especially Cycle 3 awardees and Caltrans DLAE staff.

This meeting will highlight successful strategies from District 3, which has obligated 61% of federal SRTS funds as of June 30, in a discussion led by District 3 Chief John Hoole and SRTS/SR2S Coordinator Jim Day. We will also review and discuss a draft “obligation report card” comparing the obligation rates by district, and review the goals of the action team under the lens of defining actionable priorities.
